Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing ClarioStack. We are committed to delivering high-quality software development services and products. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our obligations regarding refunds and cancellations.

1. Custom Software Development Services

All custom software development projects at ClarioStack are governed by a signed project agreement or statement of work (SOW). Refund eligibility depends on the stage at which a cancellation request is made:

• Before project commencement: A full refund of any advance payment will be issued, minus any administrative or consultation fees already incurred, within 7 business days.
• During development (before 50% completion): A partial refund may be issued based on work completed at the time of cancellation. The refundable amount will be calculated proportionally after deducting costs for completed milestones, resources allocated, and third-party expenses.
• After 50% project completion: No refund will be issued as significant development work, resources, and infrastructure have been committed. Deliverables completed up to the cancellation date will be handed over to the client.

2. SaaS Products & Subscriptions

For subscription-based SaaS products offered by ClarioStack:

• Free trial period: No charges apply during any offered free trial. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without any obligation.
• Monthly subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days within an active billing period.
• Annual subscriptions: Refund requests submitted within 14 days of the initial annual purchase or renewal will be considered for a prorated refund. Requests made after 14 days are not eligible for a refund.

3. Digital Products & One-Time Purchases

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of downloadable software, templates, licences, and other one-time digital purchases are final and non-refundable once the product has been accessed or downloaded, except in the following circumstances:

• The product is materially different from its description.
• A verified technical defect prevents the product from functioning as advertised.
• A duplicate charge was made in error.

In these cases, please contact us within 7 days of purchase with full details and supporting evidence.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Third-party licences, domain registrations, and hosting fees purchased on your behalf.
• Completed and delivered project milestones accepted by the client.
• Consultation, discovery, or design sprint fees.
• Rush or expedited delivery surcharges.
• Services rendered as part of a maintenance or support retainer that have already been utilised.

5. Damaged or Defective Deliverables

If you believe a delivered software product or service does not meet the agreed specifications, please contact us immediately upon discovery. We will investigate the issue and, where verified, provide a fix, replacement deliverable, or appropriate credit at our discretion. We do not charge for rework arising from our own errors.

6. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund or cancellation request, please contact our team with the following information:

• Your full name and company name (if applicable)
• Project or order reference number
• Date of purchase or contract signing
• Reason for the refund request
• Any supporting documentation or screenshots

7. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7–14 business days. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Disputes

We encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of services and legal action to recover costs.

9. Changes to This Policy

ClarioStackreserves the right to update or modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
